Frequently Asked Questions
Get in touch with us info@westsideskiandcycle.com or 208-690-0164 with any questions!
Why choose a guided tour instead of renting bikes?
A guided tour transforms a great ride into an unforgettable experience. Your private guide takes care of route planning, navigation, trail selection, bike setup, and logistics while sharing local knowledge, wildlife insights, and riding tips throughout the day. You'll spend more time enjoying the Tetons and less time worrying about where to go.
Are the tours private?
Yes! Every tour is completely private. We never combine groups, allowing us to tailor the route, pace, coaching, and stops to your interests and riding ability.
Is this a good option if I'm new to mountain biking or gravel riding?
Absolutely. Many of our guests are first-time or newer riders. Your guide is also your coach, providing personalized instruction, encouragement, and feedback to help you build confidence and enjoy the ride.
What kind of bikes do you provide?
You'll ride premium 2026 demo bikes from leading brands, professionally maintained and carefully fitted to you before the ride. We offer both electric and analog mountain and gravel bikes.
What’s included with the tour?
Your experience includes:
Premium demo e-bike or analog bike and helmet
Private local licensed guide and coach
Personalized route planning
Trailside lunch, snacks and cold drinks
Transportation to and from the trailhead
Westside Ski & Cycle MountainFLOW Eco-Wax logo water bottle
Where can we ride?
Our tours are designed around your riding goals! Wheel Wranglers is a United States Forest Service Caribou-Targhee National Forest Teton Basin Ranger District Permittee. and Grand Teton National Park Commercial Use Authorization holder. There is a huge variety of world class trails to explore in the Victor, Driggs, Tetonia and Alta, Wyoming areas. We’ll show you the hidden gems!
Are tours kid and family friendly?
Yes! All children who are able to ride on their own without training wheels are welcome on our tours. Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate trailers or tag-a-longs on our tours. Contact us if you have any questions about bringing your kids on bike tours!
What should I bring?
A small backpack, layers, preferred pedals, water reservoir/water bottle, favorite snacks, sunscreen, any medication needed, sunglasses and riding gloves are great to have! After booking, we will send you a participant information packet with a packing list.
What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policy:
14+ days before your tour: Full refund.
